About me
My name is Jeroen van den Bos and I’m a software engineer from The Netherlands. I’m usually working with Microsoft tools and technologies such as .NET, C#, Visual Studio and Virtual Server, but I do a fair amount of development in Java and Python as well. I believe it’s a good way to prevent getting locked into the mindset of a single environment.
Some topics I’m currently (2007) interested in: concurrency (in general, but specifically software transactional memory), runtime type checking (I’ve looked at Ruby last year and am using Python a lot right now) and software maintenance issues (evolution of requirements, architecture and the code itself).
